There are some unique things about Hegai that need to be included within the five fold ministry discussion. 1. His purpose was to serve His King. This man was focussed on the fact that his instruction of Esther was in direct relationship to his service to his king. When we serve and train those for the work of the ministry let us always do it as unto our king. 2. There was no hidden motives. This man was a Eunach. As a Eunuch there was a guarantee that he was in no way preparing Esther for his own pleasure, purpose, or profit. Many leaders today instruct and serve only those that they can profit from. Hegai had no agenda.... 3. The King was pleased. Because of the work and dedication of this man the King was ultimately pleased. The purpose of the Eunuch was to prepare the new queen for the glory of the King. We are called to prepare the Queen. This 3rd Day Church. Not for our glory but for His. Not for our greateness but for His. Eunuchs serve the church, and they serve their King. They realize she is for Him! They are her Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists. They seek to please the King by preparing Esther!

Where Do We Come From?

This is the third day of Christianity. In order to understand where we are going as the Church of Jesus Christ, we must first comprehend where we come from. Where do we come from? We come from an awakening of Apostles and Prophets that were determined to come into covenant relationship with spiritual sons and daughters. Where do we come from? We come from the New Song and the Prophetic Medley from the depths of Hillsong through a Harp called Darlene who infected us with the reality that worshippers can Shout to the Lamb and simultaneously silence the serpent. Where do we come from? We come from an obsession with God's Glory and a hunger to see change, as a man named Tommy taught us to Chase, a place call Brownsville made us run to The Mercy Seat, and a Pastor with the name of Rod demonstrated that a shout can still make the walls come down. Where do we come from? We come from the success of Christian media and the fall of her stars. Where do we come from? We come from the prompting of a Lebanese Born Believer who taught us to say Good Morning to the Holy Spirit just as a woman called Kathryn imparted to him the seed to say Good Evening to the notion that it not an it, it's a HIM. Where do we come from? We come from the dust filled tents of an evangelist with the name of Oral who engaged the possibility of healing as an everyday occurrence. Where do we come from? We come from the corridors of Catholic Universities where the Age of Aquarius competed with a protest via renewal of The Holy Spirit forever changing the status quo. Where do we come from? We come from the feet of man such as Osborne, the faith of a man called Smigglesworth, and the heart of Aimee. We come from Topeka, Azusa, Toronto, Argentina, and Scotland. We come from a place called revival, we live in a house named renewal and we aim for the Hope of Glory. Where do we come from? We come from the utterances of a language changed, a thesaurus unread, and a linguistics upgrade lead by a Black Half Blind Methodist man in the pews of humility. Where do we come from? We come from zeal for Holiness of the Wesleyan brothers, the awakening of an Edwards to repentance and the formal protest of a monk in Wittenberg. We come from tent meetings in Oklahoma, prayer meetings in Los Angeles, Airport sessions in Canada. We come from basement bible studies, college youth movements, denominational schisms and an undaunted desire for change. Where Do we come from, we come from oil being placed on our foreheads, Gold appearing via dust, bodies on the carpets, a list of demands nailed to a door, a Hispanic drug addict submitting to the call and forging himself between the Cross and the switchblade, and above all, a hunger for change. Where do we come from? We come from rebellion and revolution. We come from justification by faith and not salvation by works. We come from the fall of a leading scholar and persecutor who was made blind in order to experience the fullness of an all devouring light. Where do we come from? We come from the sound of a cock who crowed, a rock that stumbled and was restored in the midst of the sea as he worked naked to his past and dressed with anticipation of his future while his master said "Follow Me". Where do we come from? We come from the lips that kissed betrayal, from the sword of temperament that removed an ear, from a net cast on the right and not the left and from a final supper before death. Where do we come from? We come from the tears shed over the death of a friend. We come from Jacob's Well, Solomon's Porch, the gate called beautiful and a city on a hill. Where do we come from? We come from no room at the inn, a manger's promise, Nazareth's carpentry, the Jordan's greatest catch and Heaven's only hope. Where do we come from? We come from the saddle on a mule riding under the hospice of praise. We come from the grass of anguish of Gethsemane and the wounds of Grace. Where do we come from? We come from success, fraternity, betrayal, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension and rule. We come from " Why Has thou forsaken me?" And "It is finished". We come from the bloody cross, the empty tomb and the fire filled upper room. Where do we come from? We come from the top of Sinai with two tablets of stone and the feet of Golgotha with one rock of ages. We come from the God that dressed Adam and the Lord who left his clothes behind folded in the corner of a cave. Where do we come from? We come from the third day!!!

Third Day Churches and The Five Fold Leadership Model

Third Day Churches are transformational, prophetic and progressive congregations that are the leaders of revival and renewal in their corresponding cities, states and nations. 3rd Day Worship Centers are Christ Centered, Bible Based, Spirit Filled, Sound Doctrine Congregations that are revived, raised up and living in God's Sight. The majority of these churches are affiliated to major Pentecostal or Spirit Filled Denominations. They have all experienced amazing growth and revival. Yet, what distinguishes them are the Purpose, Passion, and Promise Philosophy. These churches function outside the paradigm of typical religious settings and serve to engage, empower and enhance their community and constituents. Third Day Worship Centers in America are multi cultural and are governed by Leaders that embrace the Five fold ministry model with the assistance of armor bearers, gatekeepers, psalmists, deacons, and worshipers. Third Day Churches exhibit and operate via The Five Fold ministry model presented by The Apostle Paul in Ephesians. Every Third Day Church executes Five Functions: Apostolic, Prophetic, Pastoral, Evangelistic and Teaching.
